We are thrilled and excited to announce Journey to the worlds oldest medieval city, Fez  widely considered to be the spiritual, culinary, musical and intellectual soul of Morocco.  Magical and mysterious. A feast for the senses, Fez embodies the aromas, flavors, sights and sounds of an entire nation. It’s a place where life moves to the rhythm of centuries old traditions- the people it's heartbeat. 

  Our time together will be one of exploration of some of the most sacred and compelling cultural sites and culinary destinations in and around Fez. From ancient ruins and pilgrimage villages to bustling souks and serene mountaintops,  

Our Dar (literally meaning “house of peace” in Arabic) that’s been meticulously restored to it’s original beauty. It’s a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary design + modern comforts featuring hand-painted cedar ceilings, intricate plaster carvings, vividly colored stained glass windows and minutely detailed tile work. Centrally located in the heart of old Fez.

FOOD AND DINING

Fez is the Culinary capital of Morocco, it’s vibrant souks overflowing with a stunning array of incredibly fresh food of all variety- the very definition of local and seasonal. Restaurants showcase the best in both traditional and contemporary cuisine with influences from Africa, Arabia, France and Spain. Street stalls tempt with myriad offerings from freshly made goat cheese to warm and fragrant flatbread, succulent olives, and all manner of sweet treats. We’ll feast on traditional Fassi favorites prepared by the chef at our Riad learn how to make a classic Moroccan meal during our cooking class.

We will travel to the Sahara desert to a private nomadic desert camp with all the luxuries, have dinner and listen to the beautiful Berber men play music as we watch the beautiful sunset over the Sahara for an indulgent night under the stars and wake for sunrise as we enjoy our breakfast in a truly remote and stunning location.

We will enjoy the rejuvenating spa afternoon in a beautiful traditional Hamman.

Our days will be filled with the beautiful sights, sounds and connections that will make our time together truly a one and lifetime experience.
